Fidelity has modified the investment parameters of its £182 million Fidelity Global Inflation Linked Bond fund to reduce average duration, Investment Week reports. The portfolio will now be benchmarked against the Barclays Capital World Govt Inflation Linked (1-10 year) index, which has an average five-year duration. Previously, the fund tracked the Barclays Capital World Govt Inflation Linked (All Maturities) index, which had an average duration of 10 years. The fund was launched in 2008 and is managed by Andy Weir.
