The St Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (Spimex) has appointed Alexei Rybnikov as president, EmergingMarkets.me reports. The board of directors of the exchange unanimously selected him for the position.
Before joining Spimex, he was general director of Russian financial services company RSX. Before that, he was the head of Micex and was also associated with JP Morgan Chase & Co.
