SN Power has completed the acquisition of a 41% stake in Desenvix to expand its Brazilian operations. The hydropower project developer paid a total of $440 million for the acquisition.

SN Power will form a partnership with Desenvix’s current owners to focus on further hydropower development in Brazil. The transaction, pending approval from Brazilian regulators, is expected to close in the next six months.
