Maryland-based Rydex SGI has combined its four investment advisory arms into one and is also moving to its new headquarters, MutualFundWire reports. The company has merged Rydex Advisors, Rydex Advisors II and Security Global Investors (SGI) into Security Investors, which operates under the name Rydex Investments. The company is planning to form a single mutual fund record-keeping platform that will support investments across all Rydex|SGI mutual funds. The move does not affect the staffing and investment philosophies of the mutual funds.
