Merk Investments has appointed Peter Moeller as head of distribution at the Silicon Valley-based mutual fund firm. In his newly created role, he will work under Hanna Tikkanen-Merk, executive vice president of corporate strategy.
Moeller will be director of distribution for the Merk Funds, which include the Merk Hard Currency Fund, the Merk Asian Currency Fund and the Merk Absolute Return Currency Fund. Previously, Moeller managed intermediary distribution at Van Eck Global.
