TMX Group has rolled out an alternative equities trading system. The new TMX SelectTM system will provide participants additional execution and liquidity seeking opportunities through a differentiated marketplace and pricing model. The firm has launched eight symbols for trading on TMX Select, including Brookfield Asset Management, Bombardier and Dollarama. The new ATS will provide clients with lower trading fees and extended trading hours for all stocks listed on the Toronto exchange and on the small-cap TSX Venture Exchange, which TMX Group also owns, add Reuters.
