FDIC Hires New Risk Chief

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation has appointed Stephen Quick as the first chief risk officer of the agency.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation has appointed Stephen Quick as the first chief risk officer of the agency. He will be active in his new role from Aug. 15, 2011.

Quick is joining the agency from Inter-American Development Bank, where he has been working as director of office of evaluation and oversight since 2000. He has previously also worked with the Joint Economic Committee of Congress and the House Committee on Banking, Finance and Urban Affairs.
