AQR Capital Management has appointed JP Morgan to provide prime custody services and fund administration for its newly launched mutual fund. The AQR Multi-Strategy Alternative Fund seeks exposure to sub-strategies, including convertible arbitrage, event driven, fixed income relative value and emerging markets.
The product will offer mutual fund investors with access to numerous alternative and innovative investment strategies. AQR, launched in 1998, is based in Greenwich, Connecticut and manages about $40 billion in both long-only and hedge fund assets in the U.S., Europe, Australia and Asia.
