Bank of America Corp. is seeking to cut 324 jobs in New York starting next month, Bloomberg reports. Nearly 250 of the eliminations will be done at the firm’s Midtown tower on December 14. The rest of the company’s terminations will start on November 30 and will affect offices at 2 and 4 World Financial Center and 222 Broadway. Employees have been notified of the cuts, part of the 3,500 disclosed in August. The executives will be provided with a total of $11 million in severance. The lender intends to reduce approximately $5 billion in annual costs by the end of 2013. Areas including global markets, commercial banking and corporate banking are been examined for cost-cutting opportunities.
