Telekomunikacja Polska, a unit of France Telecom, is planning to raise about $500 million from the sale of Emitel, Bloomberg reports. Bidders have offered more than 10 times the 2010 Ebitda, which exceeded $50.6 million. Telekomunikacja is awaiting final offers by the middle of February 2011 and the deal may be signed by the end of the month. Emitel operates a land-based television and radio broadcasting system in Poland.
