Health care IT firm, Ability Network, has raised $27 million in venture capital in a round led by venture capital unit of U.S. private equity firm, Bain Capital. The company also received investment form its long-standing investor, Lehmi Ventures. The fund raising is the largest round of equity capital raising for Ability, formerly known as VisionShare, which has previously raised $16 million, adds Minneapolis Star Tribune. Ability Network makes web-based software that helps care providers share information with another file claims with Medicare and Medicaid.
