Rapid7, a provider of security risk intelligence solutions, has rolled out a penetration testing solution. The new Metasploit Pro 4.0 allows defenders to respond to the changing threat landscape by identifying and understanding security holes in their enterprise infrastructure.

The solution integrates vulnerability management and web application scanners and provides data to security information and event management systems through a documented interface. It will allow defenders to identify vulnerabilities that could lead to a data breach and prioritize their remediation more effectively.
