The IShares MSCI Europe Financials Sector Index Fund lost 3 percent on September 12 following new twists in Europe’s debt crisis, ETF Trends reports. The fund, which is tied to European financials, has seen its assets under management fall to $4.3 million.

The ETF is down 33 percent year to date. Shares in BNP Paribas and Societe Generale dropped about 12 percent on Monday. The two French banks have declined more than 45 percent on concerns about losses they face if Greece, Ireland, Spain or Italy are unable to repay their debt.
