OANDA, a provider of online FX trading, has rolled out a free currency conversion application for BlackBerry PlayBook. The OANDA BlackBerry PlayBook Currency Converter application is launched for the RIM BlackBerry PlayBook mobile platform.
The application provides access to currency data powered by OANDA rates, the daily filtered rates relied on by multinational corporations, tax authorities, auditing firms, financial institutions and central banks. PlayBook, which was launched in April by Research In Motion, can calculate FX rate conversions for over 190 currencies and four metals.
