Wayne Smith is joining private equity fund-of-funds firm Pathway Capital Management as a senior vice president, Pensions & Investments reports. Most recently, he was with the Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Trust.

He was previously managing the $50.3 billion trust’s $5 billion private equity program as senior investment officer. The trust is currently searching for his replacement.
