The AARP Foundation has received a grant from Toyota Motor Corp., PaddockTalk reports. The three-year grant will help the foundation’s aim to decrease isolation by promoting driver safety among older, vulnerable, low-income Americans to secure their everyday essentials. The AARP Driver Safety Program will collaborate with experts to set up a new driver safety course curriculum for driver education and build awareness among older drivers and younger caregivers on the significance of good driving skills. The program will also broaden awareness of the program in multicultural communities and hire new volunteers.
