State Street will launch a new ETF on Jan. 27, 2011, ETF Daily News reports. The SPDR S&P Telecom ETF will focus on the telecommunications segment in the U.S. The fund will track the performance of the S&P Telecom Select Industry Index. The fund may invest in equity securities, including repurchase agreements and money market funds.
