Avo Ora has been appointed as senior investment manager in Pictet Asset Management’s emerging markets equity team, Fund Web reports. Ora will be in charge of Asia ex-Japan regional portfolios.
In his new position, he will be working under Nidhi Mahurkar and Klaus Bockstaller. Most recently, Ora was working with Putnam Investments as senior vice president for Asia Pacific ex-Japan strategies.
