Dynamix Balwas Group’s DB Hospitality is seeking to raise more than $205.14 million by selling its stake in an operational property, Economic Times reports. The Mumbai-based real estate developer will either divest its stake in the holding company or any of its three operational and eight under-construction properties.
The proceeds from the fund-raising process, expected to be completed by the end of March, are expected to provide liquidity support to the business. DB Hospitality intends to build 2,800 rooms in its hotel properties across India by the end of 2015. At least seven entities, including private equity firms, are eying the stake.
