KfW Entwicklungsbank is granting a €250 million loan to build India’s largest solar park, Bloomberg reports. The German state development bank is providing the facility to Maharashtra State Power Generation, which will develop and own the project. The total development of the park will be valued at €370 million, out of which about €120 million will be contributed by the Indian power generating utility. The reduced-interest loan is being provided on behalf of Germany’s ministry for economic cooperation and development.
