Robert Pickel has been named CEO by New York–based International Swaps and Derivatives Association (Isda). Pickel substitutes Conrad Voldstad, who will continue working with Isda as a special adviser and help with strategic initiatives.
Pickel, the association’s executive vice chairman for the past two years will assume responsibilities from next year. Before joining Isda, he was with international oil and gas company Hess Corp. as assistant general counsel in its legal department. The association which recently appointed George Handjinicolaou as head of Europe and deputy CEO is looking to strengthen its management team.
