The Emporia State University (ESU) and the ESU Foundation have teamed up to increase the university’s scholarship funding by $7.5 million. The Emporia, Kansas-based private non-profit corporation helps raise, receive, invest, allocate and oversee private endowments benefiting ESU.
The new scholarships will be spread over a five-year period and will benefit students entering ESU in Fall 2012 onwards. The new plan seeks to increase the merit-based scholarship amount for freshman and transfer student and it provides for scholarship renewability extensions depending on academic performance.
