The International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) has appointed Gay Evans as vice chairman of the board of directors and non-executive chairman of Europe, The Wall Street Journal reports. Based in London, Evans will act as an advisor to ISDA’s board and management in Europe. Prior to this, she was vice chairman of investment banking and investment management at Barclays Capital. Evans worked as ISDA’s Chairman from 1994 to 1998, after which she was the director of markets and capital markets sector leader at the U.K.’s Financial Services Authority.
