UBS’ Canadian wealth management operation has cut three positions, Reuters reports. The financial advisers laid off are Michael Ralph, Paul de la Roche and Aaron Martin. The layoffs were made as the Swiss bank is seeking to focus on attracting more senior-level advisers to the unit, which serves high net worth clients. In May, the lender terminated senior executives at its Canadian wealth management division, including Grant Rasmussen, president and CEO, as part of a reorganization, adds Bloomberg.
