The Wisconsin Growth Capital Coalition has called on the state to set up a $350 million venture capital fund, Business Journal reports. The recommended master fund of funds will invest in 14 to 20 venture capital funds.

These venture capital funds will raise an additional $350 million to $1.05 billion and invest in offices, staff and investments in Wisconsin. Investments will be made in companies requiring a continuum of capital ranging from seed stage to growth stages.
