Serbia has acquired the approval of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for the last installment of a €2.9 billion standby loan, The Associated Press reports. As per the grant, Serbia can withdraw an additional €365 million. The country has already taken about €1.5 billion loan from IMF. Serbia may seek a new credit arrangement with the IMF after the current one expires in April 2011.
