Lloyds Banking Boosts FX Business

Lloyds Banking Group has expanded its foreign exchange business with the appointment of Mike Walsh.

Lloyds Banking Group has expanded its foreign exchange (FX) business with the appointment of Mike Walsh, FX Week reports. He will report locally to Rob Garwood, head of FX sales, and will be based in London. Walsh will be responsible for focusing on the FX sales desk and for developing a macro advisory group within the bank. He will also head alpha-generating FX customers. Before joining Lloyds, Walsh was head of FX sales to hedge funds at Royal Bank of Scotland.
