Peregrine Asset Management has promoted John Courtright as the new president of the firm. In his new role, he will replace Neil Aslin and lead the Portfolio Management Committee, of which he has been a member since its inception.

Courtright was formerly serving as managing director of the firm since 2008. Peregrine Asset Management is a commodity pool operator and a commodity trading advisor registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
