Christian Siva-Jothy is shutting down his London-based SemperMacro Fund due to poor performance, Bloomberg reports. The former co-head of proprietary currency trading at Goldman Sachs’ is planning to return money to investors.
Jothy has decided to liquidate all the fund’s positions except one option trade. The vehicle, which bets on currencies and equity markets, managed almost $200 million when Jothy decided to shut the fund.
