Private equity firm, TowerBrook Capital, has sold shoe-maker, Jimmy Choo, to German luxury-goods company, Labelux, The Wall Street Journal reports. The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed, but Jimmy Choo is said to be valued at between £400 million and £550 million.

TowerBrook Capital acquired 83% of the shoe-maker in February 2007 for £180 million. Vogue magazine editor, Tamara Mellon, who retains a 17% stake, will continue as chief creative officer. Labelux also owns the Derek Lam fashion house and U.K. jeweler, Solange Azagury-Partridge.
