RBC Capital Market has appointed Frederic Lainé as the new managing director and head of fixed income and currencies of Asia ex-Japan,
The Asset reports. He will handle the firm’s fixed income and currencies business in Asia, overseeing operations in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore.
Based in Hong Kong, Lainé will work under global co-heads of fixed income and currencies of the firm Harry Samuel and Jonathan Hunter. Lainé is joining the corporate and investment banking unit of Royal Bank of Canada from Credit Agricole, where he was serving as regional head of the financial institutions group in Asia ex-Japan.
