SunTrust Banks has added David Ratcliffe as a member of its board of directors. He will also be a part of the risk and compensation committees of the board. Besides working with Sun Trust, Ratcliffe is a board member of CSX Corporation, GRA Venture Fund, Georgia Research Alliance, National Center for Civil and Human Rights and Centers for Disease Control Foundation. He has also been Chairman, president and CEO of Southern Company.
