Intertek Buys Moody Int’l For $730M

Intertek will acquire U.K. quality and safety services company, Moody International.

Intertek will acquire U.K. quality and safety services company, Moody International, The Wall Street Journal reports. The London-based testing company will pay $730 million to Bahrain-based private equity firm, Investcorp, for the acquisition. Moody will join Intertek’s industrial services division boosting its technical services platform in the global energy market, adds What Investment. Investcorp acquired Moody for $311 million in 2007.
