BNY Mellon’s Brazilian division, BNY Mellon Servicos Financeiros, is planning to hire 80-100 employees, Bloomberg reports. The unit aims to increase the staff strength by 20% to expand operations in Brazil.

The business, currently comprising 450 employees and managing $5.99 billion, will operate as a commercial bank to offer corporate services. The new staff will work on interfacing with the central bank, compliance and internal audit.
