Putnam Investments is seeking to float three new retirement income funds, PLANSPONSOR reports. The vehicles will integrate absolute return strategies that seek positive returns with less volatility than traditional asset classes. The Boston-based firm’s new funds are the Putnam Retirement Income Fund Lifestyle 1, the Putnam Retirement Income Fund Lifestyle 2 and the Putnam Retirement Income Fund Lifestyle 3. The funds will be managed by Jeffrey Knight, Putnam’s head of global asset allocation, Robert Kea and Robert Schoen.
