Emerging Global Advisors has appointed Marten Hoekstra as CEO. He will replace Robert Holderith, who will continue to work as president and concentrate on investment product development.

Hoekstra is joining the asset management firm from UBS Wealth Management, where he held the same position. Prior to UBS, he has also worked at PaineWebber, Zurich and Global Wealth Management.
