CommonWealth REIT has bought 600 West Chicago, a mixed-use property in Chicago, for $390 million.

CommonWealth REIT has bought 600 West Chicago, a mixed-use property in Chicago, for $390 million. The company also assumed existing financing, which had been arranged by Holliday Fenoglio Fowler (HFF) in 2007. HFF also arranged $180 million in financing for the previous owners in 2005.

HFF has marketed the property on behalf of the seller 600 West Chicago Associates. Senior managing directors Jaime Fink and Jeffrey Bramson of HFF investment sales team represented the seller on the transaction.
