Schroders will merge its European fund into the £261.3 million Schroder Institutional European fund, Financial Times reports. The £54.1 million European fund was previously managed by Riitta Hujanen. The combined £315.4 million fund will be renamed Schroder European and will be managed by Martin Skanberg and Rory Bateman. The change is expected to be effective March 25, 2011 and will offer retail investors access to the excess returns that were previously generated for institutional clients.
