HgCapital, a European private equity firm, has hired Andrew Land as a senior member of its services sector group and a director of the firm, AltAssets reports. Previously, he served as a managing director with OchZiff Capital Management where he was in charge of European private equity investments. Land worked as a principal with Credit Suisse Group offshoot DLJ Merchant Banking Partners before his stint with OchZiff. Over the last 18 months, the HgCapital services team has put money into JLA Ltd., a U.K. commercial laundry services firm and Netherlands-based ATC Group which provides trust services.
