Fidelity is planning to unveil a new closed-ended India fund to be managed by Nitin Bajaj, Citywire reports. Bajaj currently manages the Fidelity India Special Situation Fund with Subramanian Balakrishnan and Anirdh Gopalakrishnan.

Bajaj has previously worked with the Fidelity Global Special Situations fund team based in U.K. The emerging market fund, to be listed in U.K., may also invest in Indian equities through an open-ended Mauritian-domiciled fund.
