BlackRock has launched two overseas bond trackers for the retail market, Investment Week reports. The firm has added the BlackRock Overseas Government Bond Tracker and the BlackRock Overseas Corporate Bond Tracker to the BlackRock Collective Investment Fund range due to investor demand. The funds seek to achieve total return by tracking the performance of the JP Morgan Global Government Bond Index, ex U.K. and the Barclays Capital Global Aggregate Corporate ex U.K. index. The funds, which invest in the fixed income securities contained in these indices, have £190 million and £160 million in assets, respectively. The funds were launched with capital from the BlackRock Consensus fund, which is managed for retail investors.
