BAML Picks J.P. Morgan Global FXPB Head

Global commercial and corporate banking provider Bank of America Merrill Lynch has hired Peter Klein as global head of foreign exchange prime brokerage.

Global commercial and corporate banking provider Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) has hired Peter Klein as global head of foreign exchange prime brokerage (FXPB), FX Week reports. Klein comes from J.P. Morgan, where he held the same position. Along with global FX sales and trading, Klein will be in charge of building up FXPB.

Based in London, Klein will be reporting to Peter Johnson, who will join BAML as global head of futures and over-the-counter clearing in Chicago. Locally, Klein will also be reporting to Chris Bae, co-head of global FX trading, and Kevin Connors, global head of FX sales. Klein will succeed Tony Dalton, who will take up a senior sales role in the FXPB group.
