Tata Mutual Fund has rolled out a close-ended debt scheme, India Infoline reports. The Tata Fixed Maturity Plan Series - 38 Scheme A, which offers growth option and periodic dividend option payout, is benchmarked against Crisil Short Term Bond Fund Index.

The investment objective of the scheme is to make income and/or capital appreciation by injecting almost 100% of its assets in debt and money market instruments with low- to medium- risk profile. The fund will be managed by Murthy Nagarajan.
