Colombia’s state-owned company Ecopetrol is seeking to raise nearly $1.71 billion in a share sale, The Wall Street Journal reports. The oil company is issuing a 2% stake. The shares have been priced at $2.10 per unit, adds Bloomberg. The sale will facilitate Ecopetrol’s plans to invest $8.54 billion in the current year to increase production by 2020.
