RBC Wealth Seeks U.K. Equity Asset Manager

RBC Wealth Management, a unit of Royal Bank of Canada, is mulling over acquiring a U.K. equity asset manager.

RBC Wealth Management, a unit of Royal Bank of Canada, is mulling over acquiring a U.K. equity asset manager, Financial News reports. The unit is expecting to boost its U.K. offering to about 100 from the current 30 advisers, in four years.

The wealth unit has about $313.7 billion in assets under management. In October 2010, RBC Wealth acquired fixed income specialist BlueBay Asset Management for $1.51 billion.
