Mexican private equity firm, PC Capital, will acquire the holding company of Compania Mexicana de Aviacion, Bloomberg reports. Investor group, Tenedora K, which had acquired Nuevo Grupo Aeronautico in 2010, will transfer its shares to PC Capital before Feb. 21, 2011. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. The Cia Mexicana de Aviacion unit sought for bankruptcy protection in Mexico and U.S. in August 2010 and had shut its operations.
