GLG Partners has ended the contract of Stephen Harker and Neil Edwards to manage a Société Générale Asset Management (SGAM) fund, Citywire reports. The duo was managing the €185 million SGAM Fund Equities Japan Corealpha fund since its inception in November 2006.

The mandate has been terminated due to capacity reasons. GLG Partners, which acquired SGAM in 2009, has appointed Takaya Sekine and Hideki Kamiya to manage the fund. The firm’s €760 million Dublin domiciled version of the fund will remain unaffected.
