Alliance Trust Asset Management is seeking roll out a strategic total return bond fund in early 2012, Financial Times reports. The investment and financial services firm is developing a strategic bond fund in response to client demand for a total return product.
Alliance intends to launch one or two funds in the next 18 months. They will be managed under a strategy similar to the Monthly Income Bond fund, which is currently managed with an absolute return focus or strategic bond focus.
