Interactive Brokers has provided its customers with commission-free trading for exchange traded funds (ETFs) rolled out by Factor Advisors. The customers using Interactive Brokers’ Trader Workstation platform will be entitled for it.

The commission-free trading will be available for the first family of spread ETFs under the FactorShares name launched in last month. Interactive Brokers has removed the flat-rate and cost-plus brokerage commissions for transactions in FactorShares ETFs and its will not impose short-term trading fees.
