Russian lender Sberbank has raised $1 billion through a sale of Eurobonds, Reuters reports. The notes, carrying a coupon rate of 5.717%, are due to mature in 10 years.
The sale was arranged by JP Morgan, RBS, Deutsche bank and HSBC. The bank is also seeking approval to issue depositary receipts for 25% of its shares.
